In March 2010, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Consensus Development Conference on ‘Vaginal Birth After Cesarean: New Insights’ was held in Bethesda, Maryland.
Members of the BC Women’s Cesarean Task Force from BC Women’s Hospital attended the consensus conference.
The statement released by the expert panel after the three-day meeting includes a review of the best evidence currently available on the risks and benefits of VBAC and repeat cesarean.
