The 23rd Obstetricians Update for Family Physicians

This two day course focused on increasing competence and confidence in order to promote sustainable, secure maternity care for the benefit of patients, their families, and the practitioners who perform this important work. It also aimed to promote evidence-based maternity care and to increase awareness of developing controversies in obstetrical treatment. This course provided participants with hands-on experience in managing obstetrical complications and emergencies whilst facilitating the understanding of new and evolving techniques. It also offered an opportunity for interaction amongst physicians whose practice includes maternity care.
